2009: Making in the Spirit

Exploring and expressing creative processes

Saturday 4th July, 11am-4pm. 'Windows into ourselves - finding insights through being with art' A creative workshop at a museum led by Tomo Williams and John Harley. An afternoon of a quiet reflection with time to make personal and deep connections with this fine collection of art. Venue: The Courtauld Gallery, Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 0RN. The ASN event is free, however there is a £4 admission charge for the gallery itself. Please bring your own picnic. Art materials will be provided, if you wish to bring extra these must be dry media. August 27th - 31st 'Art, Walking and Creativity in the Yorkshire Dales', a residential art retreat led by Judith Bromley and John Harley. Marsett Barn, Askrigg, North Yorkshire. Cost: £120 including accommodation, meals and art materials. This will be the first residential event organised by the Art and Spirituality Network for some years, and promises to be rather special. It will be a self-catering event living in lovely wilderness. Ring John on 020 8670 9280 for more information or to book a place. Saturday 17th October, 2009 'Moving Imagination in the Tai Chi' A day workshop led by Tim Lamford and Caroline Roemmele offering an introduction to techniques of self discovery through movement and imagination.
